Welcome to the 2015-16 school year. This is my ninth year teaching at Menomonee Falls High School. Let's have a great year together!
I earned my B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa, M.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, teacher certification in Business Education and Career and Technical Education from Mount Mary College, and teacher certification in Marketing Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I have also completed several additional masters-level courses in the areas of Personal Finance, Economics, and Technology. Prior to teaching, I worked in the private sector in sales and marketing.
This year I will be teaching Honors Entrepreneurship, International Business, Marketing Principles, and Business Communication.
I am co-advisor of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). FBLA is the largest paid-member student organization at Menomonee Falls High School and is open to any student at MFHS regardless of if they have a business class. This year we have 262 paid members, the largest chapter in the state of Wisconsin. At the 2015 regional competition we took first place as a chapter and had over 80 students qualify for state competition, where our chapter took first place and 29 students qualified for national competition in Chicago. This was our second state championship! FBLA students run The Trading Post, our school store.
